Columbia 26 for Sale. Asking $2600

        - Sold -

You’re going to fall in love with this classic-era sloop, because this Columbia 26 was built when boat construction used thicker layers fiberglass, resulting in stronger hulls, that have lasted almost fifty years. That means that you can have this boat, well under what her worth in materials, sailing and cruising.

The Columbia 26 was first built in 1963, as a third generation fiberglass sailboat derived from a wooden sloop built by famed designer Joseph Mcglasson. She was constructed by Glas Laminates as a stretched out version of the Columbia 24. This made room for a larger interior, which can sleep up to four while still leaving room for a head, nav-station, and hanging locker.

You can always rely on her, because instead of a loud and heavy in-board, you use an outboard in a well. That means less maintenance, noise, and drag to worry about.

This comfortable cruising sailboat has been around long enough to see the changes of sailboat design, and yet she still fetches theadmiration of sailor’s world around.
